Roaches and ants

Find where they travel before you treat the kitchen

Roaches and ants use the same hallways the mice do: the ring of space around a pipe, the crack in a shared wall.

Treating one kitchen can move some of them next door, or into the apartment above. So we look for the trail, or the hiding place, before we put anything down.

We tell you what we found and what we use, where it goes and how long to keep children and pets away. We follow the label on every product, and we give you the product list if you ask.

Four steps

How a visit goes

  • 01

    Look

Under the sink, behind the stove, along the pipes and at the party wall.

  • 02

    Name it

Ants and roaches are different problems, and each kind is a few different problems.

  • 03

    Treat

Targeted baits and treatments where they travel, not a blanket across the floor.

  • 04

    Close

Seal the gaps that let them cross, and tell you what is feeding them.

Questions about this visit

Do I need to leave the house?

Usually no. We tell you before the visit if anything needs to be put away or if anyone needs to stay out of a room for a few hours.

How many visits does it take?

Most homes need a follow-up. Roaches in particular can take more than one visit, and results vary with the building and the neighbors.

Does it help to treat next door?

In attached houses, yes. We'll write the same kind of note for them that we write for mice, and we can match the dates.
